About Vida Sports Inc.

We dream of building a Sports Soccer Complex in India to provide a meeting place for people of all castes and religions to come together in an environment that is Christ centered and unashamed of the gospel. Soccer and other sporting activities will be the platform upon which the good news of Jesus will be shared among countless people. The complex will serve as a missional field for the local churches to humbly serve and boldly share their faith in Jesus Christ; churches who are doctrinally sound and faithful to the living Word of God. Players, coaches, parents, and soccer teams throughout India will daily converge on these sacred grounds dedicated to the glory of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ. The secondary mission of the Vida Sports Soccer Complex is to operate as a Christian business implementing sound Biblical principles for the purpose of generating significant returns on investments allowing the Vida Sports Soccer Complex to expand its facilities, pay for its operational expenses, and resource local churches that are doctrinally sound and gospel centric, and to positively impact the lives of the severely poor and extremely underprivileged in the city and outlying regions. The hope and goal of the Vida Sports Soccer Complex is to demonstrate how caste prejudices can be overcome through soccer and eradicated through the love of Jesus Christ. In this endeavor a key element will be the ability to create residential homes for single and double orphaned children (and children from severe poverty) who have been rescued in Jesus. These children will be loved, educated, discipled in Jesus, and equipped to serve at the Vida Sports Soccer Complex. A subsequent mission of the Vida Sports Soccer Complex is to provide jobs for Christ followers who need employment and for single parents of children who have been rescued. The Vida Sports Soccer Complex will seek to form a team of professional soccer players who love Jesus and compete nationally for the purpose of testifying for Christ Jesus. A final, yet very important mission for the Vida Sports Soccer Complex is to demonstrate to churches throughout the world how a faithful and faith-filled body of believers can come together to accomplish an audacious mission entrusted by God to their care and implementation. The Vida Sports Soccer Complex will be a center for churches around the world to (a) join in serving with the local churches in sharing the gospel, (b) to be encouraged and inspired to follow the faith of churches who joined in the endeavor to create a space where thousands every year can hear of the love of Jesus Christ and (c) to be mentored in the development of a mission that stretches faith through risk while challenging disbelief by engaging in works far beyond mere human abilities. The Vida Sports Soccer Complex will demonstrate how a viable business as a ministry (BaaM) unashamed of the gospel can exist and expand in hostile countries opposed to churches, unsanctioned religions, orphanages, and in particular Christianity.
